🔊 DJ Moe: As I came up in San Jose, I was the DJ at my fair share of hook-up house parties and weddings. My first club was the Red Lion Inn in San Jose. Other back-in-the-day clubs: DB Coopers, Mission Gardens, Fourth Street Bowl. Ola’s was the beginning of Club Remix.
My first experience mixing for radio was at San Jose State on “Project Sound.” My friend George was the host; he played my first :45 min mix tape – it started off with EPMD “You Gots to Chill.” To be mixing live on the radio is a big blessing.
